On Friday, September 18, Thunderbird Café & Music Hall was home to another celebration of the unbelievable talent that exists in Pittsburgh. Three unique but equally captivating and energetic artists took the stage, each proving exactly why they earned their place on the night’s bill.

Noah Myers, a Pittsburgh-based guitarist and vocalist, opened the night with a performance full of energy that set the tone for the entire night. An absolute powerhouse of talent and technique, Noah proved to be an excellent opener for badluv. His performance showcased not only his skill as a musician but also why he is successfully establishing himself within Pittsburgh’s music scene.

The night continued on with Pittsburgh-based indie pop artist Kenny Potter. Kenny bounced around stage throughout his refreshing and upbeat set, making it impossible not to dance and sing along. His music offered a change of pace from both Noah Myers and headliner badluv, while still complimenting the music of the night so well and keeping the energy high leading into badluv’s set.

Anticipation and cheering in the crowd grew as eyes were drawn to badluv’s walkout projected onto the curtain. The artist took the stage with explosive energy continuing from the first song through the encore. badluv’s confidence and love for his craft were undeniable as he poured all his energy into the performance while continually thanking the crowd for being there. He spent more time interacting with the audience than not as he was always taking the time to record with fans’ phones and hold their hands. 

His character and stage presence is one that shows badluv is built for the stage, and his performance reinforced that. It’s clear badluv is not slowing down anytime soon, and he, along with Noah Myers and Kenny Potter, is another example of the incredible talent in the city of Pittsburgh.
